Organised by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, the 3rd “Heartstrings of Singapore” Photography Competition-Photography Forum: Quietness and Liveliness of Buildings was held on 12 June at Singapore Lam Ann Association. The event received an overwhelming response with close to 170 participants.

The event started at 8am. After dividing the participants into three groups, they were brought to thee different locations, namely the Hong San See, Robertson Walk and the former site of Nan Chiau High School at Kim Yam Road for a two hour outdoor photoshoot session with the models.

During the second half of the event, three professional photographers Mr Tan How Jwat, Mr Yon Chok Yin PBM and Mr Ng Yew Loo was invited as speakers for the Photography Forum. Topics such as creation of fine art architectural photography, traditional architectural photography were discussed.

Many participants gained a deeper understanding on photography through this event.
