In the spirit of co-creating an inclusive society, SFCCA is partnering SG Enable and CaringSG to translate English resources to Chinese for Mandarin-speaking caregivers to better relay relevant information and keep them informed of available aid. This programme is initiated by Alliance for Action.

SFCCA has completed the pilot phase in August 2022.Presently, SFCCA hopes to recruit more members of the public, and reach out to 350000 caregivers of persons with special needs island wide. If you are interested in joining this initiative, please refer to the following requirements.

Becoming a volunteer translator

Requirement

We invite you to become a volunteer if you are fluent in Mandarin and English.

What to expect?

  • Participation is on a voluntary basis and volunteers will not be remunerated
  • Up to 2 pieces of work per month, with a maximum of 1,000 words each
  • Volunteers would be given up to 2 weeks to complete each piece of work
