The 5th SFCCA Youth Sports Festival was launched on 6th August 2017, 1:15PM, at Orchid Bowl@The Chevrons, with Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Sun Xueling as our Guest-of-Honour.
In her opening speech, Mdm Sun Xueling mentioned that many sports place great emphasis on team spirit and chemistry established from complementing and co-operating with one another, henceforth enhancing the interaction and integration amongst young adults, and this is precisely the effect SFCCA Youth Sports Festival has.
With that, Mdm Sun Xueling, along with her spouse and clan leader representatives, formed a team to participate in a bowling competition right after the Opening Ceremony, joining in the fun!
MP Sun Xueling was warmly welcomed by SFCCA Head of Youth Committee, Mr Tan Aik Hock, Head of Member Affairs Committee, Mr Thomas Pek, as well as President of Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan, Mr Pok Cheng Chong
Before the competition officially commences, the Organising Committee also arranged for a warm-up routine for everyone.

The Bowling Competition this time attracted 24 participating teams in total. Everyone displayed their prowess, demonstrating their abilities in the best condition! It was a tough fight!
Everyone was well-matched in strength
Finally, Singapore Sam Kiang Huay Kuan, Chung Shan Association (Singapore) and Singapore Kwangtung Hui Kuan emerged victorious as First, Second and Third respectively.

Amongst them, the representative of Singapore Kwangtung Hui Kuan won the Best Female Player, and the Best Male Player was awarded to the representative of Singapore Sam Kiang Huay Kuan.
The Opening Ceremony-cum-Bowling Competition successfully came to a joyful closure. However, the 5th SFCCA Youth Sports Festival has not ended yet, and will continue till October.
