Recipient of Outstanding Community Integration Fund Project Award

Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations was presented with the Outstanding Community Integration Fund (CIF) Project Award by National Integration Council (NIC) at the inaugural NIC Awards and Appreciation Dinner held on 30^th November 2016.

The winning project “Get to Know Singapore Contest” was a 8-month competition by teams comprising locals and immigrants to tackle game challenges and learn more about Singapore’s multicultural heritage.

The contest, supported by NIC, provided a platform for new immigrants to learn more about Singapore, understand its unique culture, encourage social interaction and development of local social networks/ building friendships. Due to its efforts to integrate immigrants, the contest is awarded with the Outstanding Community Integration Fund Project Award.
