Once again emerging as champion with its stellar performance at the 7th SFCCA Youth Sports Festival was Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan (Team #1)! This time round, it was at the newly added sport category – bubble soccer. The competition took place on 15th September 2019 at the Basketball Association of Singapore. Eng Choon Hway Kuan (Singapore) and Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan Team #2 were awarded 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
For many of the participants, it was their first time being half-encased inside an inflated torus bubble which made it arduous to maintain their balance, hence increasing the difficulty of the competition. Despite so, at the end of the day, the participants shared the same sentiment – that bubble soccer was an innovative and fun-filled sport.
Roll, bump and attack! The exhilarating bubble soccer match was well-received by all the participants!
