Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA), Business China and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre co-hosted the Spring Reception 2016 to usher in the Year of the Monkey. The objectives are to celebrate the Chinese New Year as well as enhance interaction and strengthen camaraderie among the Chinese community leaders in Singapore. Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister was invited to grace the event as the Guest-of-Honour, and celebrated this most significant event on the Chinese calendar with the invited guests.
