The “Famous People and Temples” symposium, organised by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, took place on 24th October 2015 on the fifth level of the National Library of Singapore. Four famous academics—Mr Kua Bak Lim, Mr Kenneth Dean, Dr Xu Liying and Dr Yeo Kang Shua—were invited to talk about the relation between famous people and temples.
