The Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) and Business China jointly held the Spring Reception 2014 on 2 February (Sunday). Many guests joined us in the celebration, including member clan associations and Singapore entreprenuers who have businesses in China.

The Guest-of-Honour, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, was ushered into the event hall by a lively lion dance performance. A myriad of cultural and pulsating performances was also put up by Dunman High School Chinese Orchestra, Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan Dance Troupe and a dance troupe from Yunnan, China, further adding colours to the festivity.

During his address, DPM Teo paid tribute to local clan associations’ efforts in promoting Chinese culture and facilitating social cohesion. The SFCCA President Chua Thian Poh also provided an update of SFCCA achievements in the past year and upcoming activities in 2014.
