Around 900 guests gathered to usher in the Year of the Snake at the Spring Reception 2025, an annual celebration jointly organised by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC). The occasion was attended by Guest-of-Honour Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and joined by distinguished members of the Cabinet and Parliament, representatives from the diplomatic corps, Chinese community leaders, members of Chinese clan associations, as well as representatives from local Chinese arts and cultural groups, and other ethnic communities. Senior Minister Lee first attended the Spring Reception in 2012, where he gave strong affirmation to the establishment of the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. 13 years on, holding the Spring Reception at the Centre he advocated makes the occasion especially meaningful.
