Events Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute projects single-handedly and/or as a team, including managing of project budgets, liaising with vendors
  • Work with partners and stakeholders to support and co-ordinate the event preparation and operation
  • Provide secretariat support to the working committee(s)
  • Crisis management and contingency planning
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma from a relevant discipline or its equivalent
  • Candidates with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in event management will be preferred. Applicants will be considered for junior or senior level of the role depending on years of relevant experience
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese with good written and verbal communication skills to work with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders. A good command of English is preferred
  • Able to multi-task, work independently and as a team
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and perform under stress
  • Willing to work on occasional weekends, when required
