On Saturday, 19 October, Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Association (SFCCA) successfully organised Health Talk 2024 at its Multi-Purpose Hall and attracted over 100 participants. The main objective of the session was to raise awareness of the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in alleviating knee and neck-shoulder pain with the goal to increase the overall quality of life.  

The hall was filled with eager attendees. 

During the talk, TCM Practitioner shared tips on protecting the knees, offering in depth advice on how TCM practices can prevent and alleviate knee pains, including daily care routines, proper posture and common TCM treatment. Many attendees left with practical tips they could easily incorporate into their daily lives.  

TCM Practitioner Chen Fengying shared tips on caring for the knee with the attendees.  

Following, TCM Practitioner Chen Fengying continued to share on TCM methods of caring for neck and shoulder, highlighting methods such as acupuncture, Tui Na. These treatments are especially effective for individuals who experience pain due to prolonged sitting and poor posture. 

The audience actively participated, engaging with insightful questions during the Question & Answer segment.

By the end of the session, participants not only gained a greater understanding of how to relieve through TCM methods but also learnt techniques on preventions through daily care. The event concluded successfully, receiving praise from all attendees.
