The 12th SFCCA Youth Sports Festival badminton tournament took place successfully on Saturday, 24 August, at the Singapore Badminton Hall in Geylang. This year’s event attracted over 200 badminton enthusiasts, comprising 24 teams in total, with 8 teams from various member associations and 16 teams from the public.

Competitors showcased exceptional skills and sportsmanship

The venue was buzzing with excitement and laughter, creating a lively atmosphere. The event not only ignited the competitive spirit but also fostered interaction and collaboration among different age groups. Furthermore, players demonstrated strategic acumen and tenacity on the court, highlighting the allure of badminton.

The championship title was clinched by Eng Choon Team 1 from the Eng Choon Hway Kuan Singapore. The runner-up position went to JHBT Team 1 from the Tian Fu Association. The third place was secured by Team Pyramid, a public team.

The 12th Youth Sports Festival Badminton Tournament was a great success!

This year’s festival was organized by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, in collaboration with the Chin Kang Huay Kuan, Eng Choon Hway Kuan Singapore, Bukit Panjang Khek Community Guild, Fong Yun Thai Association, Foo Clan Association, Hainan Hwee Kuan, and Jiangsu Association. It was co-organised by the Kwangtung Hui Kuan, Singapore Ann Kway Association, and Singapore Lam Ann Association. With support from National Integration Council SG Together Alliance for Action, Singapore Clan Foundation, and Cultural Matching Fund.
