In this golden age of journalism, journalism has evolved and become not what we had known it for. “We Media” or news produced by citizens produce plenty of reports each day that results in as much influence as the traditional media. How do such participatory journalism in Singapore set its target audience in Singapore and help the immigrants to assimilate is a topic that was discussed on 16th July 2016, Saturday at SFCCA Level 2 Conference Room.
Four speakers from the participatory journalism industry were invited to share their experiences on creating and maintaining their platforms, and their efforts in integrating new immigrants in this recent “Singapore Society” Series Seminar. The four speakers were Li Yeming, Yang Zhou, Zhu Wenjie and Li Yufu.
