Following the success of the “Clan Association Visits”, SFCCA has decided to extend the scope to heritage sites of Singapore’s four largest ethnic communities, namely the Chinese (Foo Hai Ch’an Monastery & Mahabodhi Monastery), the Malays (Khadijah Mosque), the Indians (Indian Heritage Centre) and the Eurasians (The Eurasian Community House).
More than 20 participants joined us in the first stop to the Eurasian Community House on 25th April 2015 (Saturday). The building has a museum that provides participants a quick glimpse into the heritage and history of the Eurasian community in Singapore, with a unique exhibition on the social life of Eurasians during World War II.
