The SFCCA and the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) jointly organised the Project C.A.R.E 2014 on 27th April 2014 (Sunday).
700 volunteers took 500 senior citizens from various welfare organisations to tour the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, followed by a luncheon at Ban Heng Pavilion Restaurant.
Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing hosted the luncheon as the Guest-of-Honour. Other honourable guests include Minister for Health and Chairman of the CDAC Board of Directors Mr Gam Kim Yong and SFCCA President and Chairman of CDAC Board of Trustees Mr Chua Thian Poh.
