Dementia is known as the “plague of the twenty-first century”.
Co-organised with Nanyang Khek Community Guild, Char Yong (Dabu) Association and Ying Fo Fui Kun, Health Carnival 2017 was held on 28th October 2017 to increase the public’s awareness, and understand the symptoms as well as the prevention of Dementia.
The event was held at SFCCA Multi-Purpose Hall @ Level 1 at 2pm and received an overwhelming response of over 300 participants. Dr Yeo Seem Huat shared tips on Dementia prevention as our guest speaker. A short skit for detection and information on Dementia was put up by the Health Promotion Board.
